Over the years, I’ve built my own custom keyboard layout in DaVinci Resolve — designed to speed things up and keep me in the flow. It’s a mix of the default layout, some Premiere habits, and a few personal tweaks that just make sense for how I work.

How to install your new Keyboard Shortcuts

  1. Download the shortcut file from the link in your email receipt.

  2. Open DaVinci Resolve.

  3. Go to the top menu and click DaVinci Resolve > Keyboard Customization.

  4. In the customization window, click the three-dot menu (•••) in the top-right corner.

  5. Choose "Import Preset".

  6. Select the downloaded file (it usually ends with .json) from your downloads folder.

  7. Once imported, hit Save and you're ready to go!

That’s it — your new shortcut layout is now active. Happy editing!
